Winter Wedding shoot

Earlier this week, I was privileged to spend a day with the immensely talented photographer Brett Harkness. Brett is one of the best wedding photographers in the UK, and I was delighted to spend a full day learning about how he and his wife Kristie tackle the lack of daylight (and bad weather) issues that many photographers struggle with during the winter months.

Here are my favourite shots from the day……..

Cool groom

Ready to go

Rain isn't always a disaster!

Wall shot

Doorway shot

Rain doesn't stop play

First dance....literally!

Great stuff, John. Some really stunning image. I’d love to know how you got the shots of the back-lit rain without blowing up bride or equipment.
