Making it easier to choose a wedding photographer
I’m always trying to think of ways to make it easier for couples getting married to select their wedding photographer because I really do appreciate how difficult it is to choose; that person is going to spend your big day with you, they are responsible for capturing the essence of the day and telling the story through your wedding book. It’s a huge responsibility for anyone, and you want to ensure that they will treat the day with the gravitas and thoughtfulness that it deserves.
So wouldn’t it be great if you could see how your wedding photographer works and see their images of you BEFORE you book them? That would take all the risk out of it wouldn’t it? You would know that you get on with them and also that they can take great pictures of you and be confident that they will get the shots on the day. If only…….

Wedding : Louise and Antony – John Cleary Photography
My first winter wedding and first wedding of 2010 was that of Louise & Antony, a fabulous couple who have become good friends since they booked last summer. The wedding was at St John the Baptist, Royston and the reception held at Chilli. Despite it being a cold February day it was a blast, with everyone enjoying themselves into the small hours.

Wedding: Kerrie & Paul – Wentworth Church, Yorkshire
Kerrie and Paul got married at Wentworth Church last weekend. I was honoured to be asked to help out with the photography by capturing the boys getting ready and getting additional shots at the church.

Apologies for the lack of posts lately there have been lots of exciting goings on here at John Cleary Photography. The new web site is now at an advanced state of development, new branding is also on it’s way and there’s also a wedding fair in the offing……
I’m very excited to have a stand at Ultimate Brides, which is tipped to be one of the largest wedding fairs in the country. It’s happening on Sunday 6th September at Magna about a mile away from the Meadowhall shopping centre (M1 J34). John Cleary Photography has 10 VIP tickets for two to give away to ‘brides-to-be’! Wedding: Kath & Mike – Storrs Hall, Windermere
Mike & Kath got married at St Mary’s Church, Rydal with the most fabulous reception at Storrs Hall on the shore of Lake Windermere. Everyone had a marvellous time, especially enjoying the classic bus that transported them to & from the church and the awesome Toni James Band in the evening.
