As Monty Python used to say, “And now for something completely different”!

I’ve always considered myself to be “vocally challenged” although that never stops me singing along to “Killers” at full pelt in the car! Some of us are more confident of our singing ability, rightfully or not :0) Standing on a stage and belting out “Living On A Prayer” after a few drinks is great fun…but imagine this….wouldn’t it be fantastic if you could stand on stage singing a great song not in front of a CD player but a real live band!!?? That’s exactly what Cover Beyond do! I was lucky enough to be there to help record their first night at the Leamington Assembly along with Nick Stragnell who was shooting video. Leamington Assembly is a fantastic venue that, since it opened in 2008, has hosted a number of significant recording artists including Razorlight, The Kooks, Doves, Pendulum, Corinne Bailey Rae,  The Enemy, Beverley Knight, Reverend and the Makers, Goldfrapp and so many more . A great time was had by all; please, please if you are in or near Leamington next time they play make sure you go along, a fantastic night is guaranteed.
