Family portrait: Summer in Devon

During the summer, I had the opportunity of a shoot in Devon on Croyde beach (I love my job!). It was a glorious summer day that put me in mind of my childhood summer holidays on the North Wales coast. When we captured these images the early evening sunshine was low in the sky, the surf was up, the surfers were out catching waves and the light was gorgeous.

It was great to meet ‘G’, she’s such a little cutie and clearly loves living by the sea (who can blame her!?). One of the things I love about being a photographer is having the opportunity to spend time with people in their own environment (often doing ordinary things), capturing the essence of a moment in time and preserving it forever. If you would like to brighten up your walls with images of your family, why not contact me through the blog.

New Website, New Brand .. and a give away to celebrate!

I’m so excited and proud to present my new website and brand. It’s taken a lot of hard work over the last few weeks, but now it’s all come together. Mark and Emma, thank you both so much for your help & support with the site & branding; without it, this new look would not have happened.

The website has lots of new images for you all to see. Some of you will have seen them before but not since I arrived at your home with a projector & screen to present them to you. I really hope you enjoy seeing them again.

I’d love to hear what you think of the new site & brand; leave a comment on the blog & let me know what you think.

To celebrate the launch of the new brand & site, I’m giving away a free portrait session! Send me an email via the website with a subject of ‘Free draw’  and one lucky winner will be drawn at random on 30th September. I’ll be in touch with the winner soon after.
